About Us
Bernie & Di ('Dee') Weston
We have been together since 1979! We married in 1981 and moved to Havana, Florida in 1982 where we live today. We have one son, born in 1987. Di started making her stuffed animals first; Bernie joined her in the Arts and Crafts business shortly afterward. EarthTree, LLC was established as a licensed business in 2007. The name EarthTree was derived from a picture Bernie drew many years earlier of a tree growing out of the earth as shown in the logo.
Our Talents!
Di specializes now in unique plush stuffed animals, many of which are patterns she has created herself. Over the last year, the platypus and merhorses (hippocampus) have resulted in the most sales. Her talents also include knitting and crochet.
Bernie has many artistic talents! Over the years he has worked with original art work, photography, and the wood burning he is currently focusing on.
Plushies can be made as memory pets from loved ones' clothing. Wood burned images can be created from your photographs in honor of friends and family. Several wood burnings have already been created as wedding gifts! Others have been created in memory of loved ones .
